Water Heater Flush

$35

+$25 if anode rod replacement needed

⚠ This service is for tank-style RV water heaters — specifically Suburban, Atwood, and Dometic units. It is not applicable to tankless water heaters or hydronic heating systems.

Sediment and mineral deposits build up in RV water heaters over time — quietly reducing heating efficiency, shortening the heater’s lifespan, and in some cases affecting the taste and smell of your hot water. Most RV owners never flush their water heater until something goes wrong. Getting ahead of it is easier and far less expensive than dealing with a failed unit on the road.

A water heater flush drains and rinses out the sediment that accumulates at the bottom of the tank, restoring efficiency and giving the unit a clean start. It’s a straightforward service that’s easy to add on during a visit for any other water system work.

While we’re in there, we’ll inspect the anode rod — the sacrificial component that protects the tank lining from corrosion. Anode rods wear down over time and need periodic replacement to keep doing their job. If yours is due, we can swap it out at the same appointment.

A water heater flush pairs naturally with holding tank cleaning, winterizing, and dewinterizing — if we’re already on-site for any of those services, adding a flush is an easy way to take care of your whole water system in one visit.
